Lady Gaga, Italian American performer and singer of hits such as Bad Romance and Million Reasons, will begin her Joanne World Tour this year. The tour will be in support of her fifth album Joanne, which was released last year. The tour will stretch from August to December while spanning across the globe. Tickets for the 2017 events have recently went on sale, and several shows throughout America and Europe have already sold out.
The songwriter will be starting her tour after the recent introduction of The Love Project, a campaign of love and acceptance that was crafted by Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation. The campaign was made known during the 89th Annual Academy Awards ceremony, in which the video proudly urges viewers to "Help grow love in the world" by showing love on social media with the hashtag "lovein3words."
The star is also set to appear and perform in A Star Is Born, a Bradley Cooper remake of the 1954 drama of the same name. The film is to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and is expected to be released late 2018.
