As the saying goes, when one door closes another one opens. After 35 years in Cleveland’s Little Italy, Primo Vino is closing its doors. In addition to the countless number of dinners served, the Little Italy staple restaurant was sought after for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, funerals, wine tastings, and more. It will surely be missed by the community and all its patrons. The property has been sold to WXZ Development, Inc. who will “usher in a new era and an exciting new use for the property,” states Robert Fatica, proprietor of Primo Vino. The restaurant’s last day of operation will be Friday, August 11. In his parting words, Fatica thanked his loyal staff, his family, his business Partner, Carmen Armenti, and his patrons saying “As one door closes, another door opens. It has been an honor to feed you and share a glass of wine with you. Vediamo, speriamo, tante grazie.”
