On June 7, Il Cenacolo Italiano di Cleveland concluded its 91st program season with a four-course dinner preceded by Prosecco and stuzzecchini. Forty-four people were in attendance. This year, Il Cenacolo’s annual dinner was followed by a music performance of traditional Italian songs sung by eight-year-old Alex Cosma. His music and voice teacher, Mrs. Olga Druzhinina, accompanied Alex on the piano. The music program selections included: “O Sole Mio,” “Fenesta che lucive,” “Santa Lucia,” “La Spagnola,” and “That's Amore.”
Each year, Il Cenacolo is proud to offer academic scholarships through the Ina and Ferdinand Fournier Fund. This year’s recipients were: Madeline Anderson, Lake Erie College; Sarah Rich, Lake Erie College; Nick Forbes, CWRU; Robert Bruno, CWRU; and Thomas Pena, CWRU.
