Antonio Carluccio, the “Godfather” of Italian cooking died at the age of 80. Carluccio helped bring Italian cooking to the U.K. He was a famous chef and restauranteur in Britain who used his knowledge of Italian food culture to also establish himself as an author and TV personality. His eponymous chain of restaurants and delis has more than 80 locations in the U.K. as well as franchises in Ireland and the Middle East.
