Sicilian Sisters Travel è un’agenzia di viaggi specializzata in tour della Sicilia e di altre zone dell’Italia. Alle visite di gruppo si affiancano proposte di itinerari personalizzati su richiesta del cliente. L’attività nasce nel 2016 su iniziativa delle sorelle Francesca e Giovanna Mignosa, che dopo aver vissuto negli Stati Uniti per un lungo periodo hanno deciso di tornare nella loro terra di origine e dedicarsi a farne scoprire le sue infinite bellezze.

Born and raised in Sicily, sisters Francesca and Giovanna Mignosa were fortunate enough to travel the world as they were growing up. When they weren’t traveling, their family was welcoming and entertaining international guests in their home. Growing up in a bicultural and multilingual home (their Papa is Sicilian, their mother Sicilian-American) solidified their passion for traveling the world and engaging others to do the same.

In 1997 Francesca and Giovanna moved to the U.S. to pursue a higher education, each earning a master’s degree. Francesca then spent 18 years working in International Education, International Media and International Travel while Giovanna worked at NASA Glenn Research Center in the offices of Educational Programs, Environmental Management and Safety for 15 years. In these multicultural environments, again, the sisters found themselves offering travel advice and guidance to clients.

Although the sisters greatly valued their careers and the experiences allowed through them, they longed for the beauty and slow-paced lifestyle of their native island of Sicily. And, so, Sicilian Sisters Travel was born. Returning to Sicily just this year, Francesca and Giovanna are excited to “design exquisite, personalized journeys to Sicily and Italy” for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Sicilian Sisters Travel promises to take away any stress or uncertainties when planning your journey through Sicily and Italy. The sisters are also multilingual, speaking Italian, English, French, Spanish, and even some Portuguese. They offer group tours, food and wine tours and genealogy tours, amongst others, as well as personalized trips for clients.
