On Saturday, October 1, 2016 beginning at noon the Italian American Veterans Post 1 (IAV) located at 4567 Oberlin Avenue in Lorain will host its 8th Festa Italiana.

Opening with the IAV Color Guard then Hip to That with Maria DiDonato will perform.

At 2 p.m. Joe Marotta will play his accordion for the audience.

At 3 p.m. the IAV will honor two Italian American Veterans: Louis Leone and Arthur Astorino; two IAV Ladies Auxiliary members: Yolanda Argenti and Eileen Chiaramonte; and two businesses: DeLuca’s Place in the Park and Januzzi’s Footwear Solutions.

From 4 – 6 p.m. entertainment will continue with the Avanti Italian American Band from Cleveland and at 6:30 p.m. Al Battistelli will perform.

Plenty of Italian food and baked goods will be for sale along with multiple raffles.
