A story about balloons. A story about a kookaburra. A story about fishing. And a story about a trumpet. At least that's how my nearly three-year old son knows them by. Behind the balloons, kookaburra, fishing, and trumpet, are messages of hope and inspiration, reflection and motivation. I sincerely hope you enjoy them! “Stories from the Bean Table” is author Angelo Velotta’s first published book.
La Gazzetta Italiana learned more about author Angelo Velotta and his debut book. Velotta’s family traces its roots to Campobasso (paternal side) and Carini, Sicily (maternal side). Velotta grew up appreciating the simple things in life and sharing stories. His hope is that his stories are a reflection of his family, faith, and heritage.
Angelo has been writing stories since he was a child and has hoped to write a book since he was in the second grade. His main goal with this book is that each reader finds at least one thing to positively resonate with them. Angelo resides in northeast Ohio with his wife Kimberly and his two sons, Leo and Lorenzo.

What’s next for Angelo Velotta? “I am working on the first story for a hopeful volume two, and possibly a creative and fun game for families to play. I’d like to thank La Gazzetta, and all other local stores, libraries, and publications for their support and coverage!”
