The XXIV edition of the Settimana della Lingua Italiana focuses on the theme “Italian and the Book: The World Between the Lines.” The goal is to explore the connection between language and literature in the current context and highlight the book’s fundamental role as a tool for transmitting cultural heritage, values, and Italian identity. We will hold a book presentation & Signing: LA MASSERIA by Daniela D’Amico Henderson (in English, although the book is in Italian) paired with incredible Italian wines from the locations in the book. This Week of the Italian Language in the World (#SLIM) is organized under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, by the Consulate of Italy in Detroit, the Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan, and conSenso Publishing.
