Dinner at Home Family Club: Fridays

6 - 8 p.m. Adults $20, ages 8-13 $10, children 7 and under free. Cash bar. Open to the public, no reservations needed.

Pasta and meat dinners at Southwest Italian American Club: 1st and 3rd Fridays 

$10 for complete pasta meal: salad, entree with meat of the week, dessert, cash bar.  SWIAC is located at 7510 Snow Rd., near Ridge Rd. in Parma.

“Michelangelo: Mind of the Master:” Now through early 2020

The exhibit will be on show until Jan. 5. A related exhibit “Master/Apprentice: Imitation and Inspiration in the Renaissance” will be available Oct. 13 - Feb. 16.

“Music from the Age of Michelangelo:" Oct. 23 

7:30 p.m., Cleveland Museum of Art

Fretwork, the world’s leading consort of viols, performs a program inspired by the exhibition Michelangelo: Mind of the Master. In 1501 (Michelangelo was born in 1475) Ottaviano Petrucci published the Harmonice Musices Odehecaton, or One Hundred Harmonic Pieces of Music, featuring works by all the major composers of the time; much of the program is drawn from this book. Don’t miss this illuminating concert featuring works by Marbriano de Orto, Johannes de Piñarol, Josquin Desprez and more.  Tickets $33-$45, or $30-$40 for CMA members.
