Cleveland’s Little Italy is a vibrant eastside neighborhood near University Circle. This neighborhood began to form in the late 1800s when Italian immigrants, mainly from the South, settled here in search of work and a better life. They brought with them a rich heritage, delicious cuisine, cultural traditions, and a strong work ethic, and they built this community. Despite the modern changes, Little Italy has retained its distinct character and continues to preserve Italian traditions.
